Neat gag page that makes it appear to the user that their Windows O/S has been replaced by Macintosh.

Lab Tests On-line

No, you cannot get the lab tests actually done on-line yet, that's 20 years away!  Still this non-profit public resource contains information about all different medical tests you may find yourself having to undergo.  How the test is done, why it is done, what the results mean, etc.  All the stuff you always forget to ask the doctor or the testing service while you are still in their offices.

Irfan View 3.85

Irfan View is a skinny freeware image viewer/converter that works on all Windows platforms.  Haven't tried it yet, but heard good things about it.  A useful tool in you bag of tricks.

Cygwin

Have you always wanted Unix/Linux on your machine but didn't care to devote the partition or the effort to setting it  up.  Cygwin, GNU Software claims to be a Unix and/or Linux emulator which runs as an overlay over Windows.  I understood it to be purely Unix, but the site seems to be touting it as a Linux emulator.  Maybe both are available.  You'll have to scour the massive site to settle that, I haven't had time to investigate.

Color Palette

Gives RGB hex,  decimal values and HTML tag code for the color chart.  Keep in mind that in gifs, anything beyond the 16 basic colors may not render the same on all PC's.  If you don't know what I'm talking about, just skip this one!

After a couple of more links get added, I think I will have to organize these!
